The start of my Paid Travel Influencer Journey:
Firstly, I have been a paid Travel Influencer & Content Creator for the last 5-6 years and Social Media Manager & Growth Specialist for the last 7 years. Over the years, it has become my full-time income. I am not only rewarded financially but rewarded with FREE luxury travel around the globe… Sounds amazing right?
My ‘Travel Creator’ journey started around 5-6 years ago, alongside being a Social Media Manager for several businesses. I began by posting our families travel adventures with my family and friends. I’m not going to lie, at the start our content sucked lol.
Then as time went on…
Our audience grew, I developed my photography, videography and editing skills. It was then I saw the opportunity to use the account, to make some money and be a paid travel influencer. To leverage our audience and take advantage of some amazing collaborations to assist me to fund even MORE Travel!
Over my years as a paid Travel Influencer & Content Creator, I have had some great success stories and had some of the most incredible experiences. The most I have been PAID for a travel post is $4k and the highest value collaboration to date has been $12k.
I also get PAID every time I travel through recommending my hotels and tours and getting paid via an Affiliate income, so it’s WIN WIN!
After experiencing some success as a paid travel influencer, I decided to start a second account (The Savvy Tourist) to HELP as many people as I can, enjoy the same benefits that I have enjoyed and turn their dreams into plane tickets.
I also recently relaunched my website and this very Travel Blog, and turned a profit within the first 30 days! Yes, that’s right before Google had even had a chance to rank me for SEO.
Infact in the first thirty days of this very blog I earnt a WHOPPING $1500 and had over 12,000 visitors.
The fact is, you can reuse your content across multiple channels and produce income from multiple avenues, which is the first thing I suggest!
