When should you book your Kyoto Hotel?
To secure the best hotels in Kyoto at great prices, I recommend booking 3–9 months in advance. This gives you the widest selection and best value, especially for sought-after Hotels or Ryokans that sell out early.
Note: Some hotels and guesthouses don’t release rooms 6_+ months in advance, so if you don’t see your desired dates, set a reminder to check back!
And lastly, always book a room with a cancellation policy, that way if your plans change or you find a better deal closer to your travel date, you can make the changes risk free.
