Get Clothes Taylored

Hoi An is renowned as the tailoring capital of the country. It boasts an extraordinary amount skilled tailors who can create (or re-create) custom garments with precision and flair all within 24-48 hours.

Whether you’re dreaming of a perfectly fitted suit or an extravagant dress, Hoi An’s tailors are renowned for their craftsmanship, attention to detail, and their exquisite selection of fabrics and designs.

Beyond the impeccable quality and low prices, the process itself is a lot of fun. It’s not just about making clothes and taking home a souvenir. It’s about participating in a centuries-old tradition.

Our Suggestion: Hay Hay Taylors

Night lantern ritual

When the sun sets in Hoi An’s Old Quarter there is a magical transformation that takes place. Lanterns of every color light up the Thu Bon River. It’s a long-standing tradition in Hoi An to buy a lantern and set it free down the river. This can be done on the rivers edge or by an inexpensive boat ride up and down the Thu Bon River.

Cost: Lantern boat (up to 4 pax) around 350000vpn and a single lantern is around 10000vpn

Basket Boat Tour

This was something we almost didn’t do because we were worried it would be gimmicky and wouldn’t live up to the hype. However I am SO GLAD to report that it was AMAZING. It was so fun, CHEAP and was beautiful cruising through the palm fringed river. I would definitely recommend you pay the extra to GO FAST!!! This was a lot of fun.
