Toyosu Senkyaku Banrai

A new area in Tokyo which has been built to resemble a traditional Edo period district. Here you can eat, drink and shop, eating some delicious traditional food and fresh seafoods from the Toyosu Seafood Markets.


Sumo Lunch or Dinner

This is one of the newest Sumo Experiences, and the perfect solution for those who want to experience Sumo Wrestling but were not lucky enough to have a Tournament on while they were staying.

This lunch includes a traditional lunch served by ex Sumo Wrestlers, a Sumo Wrestling Show and a chance to even experience Sum Wrestling firsthand!

Robot Cafe – Robot waiters controlled remotely by disabled workers

Dawn Avatar Robot Cafe is a fairly NEW cafe located in Tokyo that is run by a team of Robot waiters who are all remotely controlled by disabled or workers that would otherwise not be able to physically go to work.

A Traditional (+ Interactive) Samurai Experience

There are a number of options to choose from in Tokyo if you are wanting to experience the world of the Samurai Ninja. From the Samurai Museum to a Ninja Samurai lesson or photoshoot, you can be fully immersed in an experience and be either a spectator or an active participant.

Art Aquarium Museum

Located conveniently in Ginza at Ginza Mitsukoshi, a department store in Ginzayou will find the new Art Aquarium installation with illuminated displays of thousands of gold fish.

Tea Ceremony

Tokyo Asakusa Kimono & Tea Ceremony Experience is located just a 3-minute walk to the Senso Ji Temple. Here you will get to experience a 1-hour traditional Tea Ceremony ASWELL as dress in a traditional high-quality Kimono or Yukatas. There is a selection of over 500 to choose from as well as accessories, probs for all your photographs.

Get Your Fortune from Sensō-ji Temple – A traditional experience in Tokyo for over 1000 years.

Known as ‘Omikuji’ Omikuji is almost a 1000 year old Japanese tradition. It is a fun activity for visitors and locals to predict their fortunes, including their health, work, love, business, study and travel.

Location: Almost all Temples and Shrine will have a version of this. This video was taken from Sensō-ji Temple (A must-see in Japan), Tokyo’s oldest-established temple in Asakusa, Tokyo.

It is said that when you get:

🍀 Good Luck: Take it with you 🫶🏻

🛑 Bad luck: Leave it in the temple grounds, to release it. There will usually be somewhere to tie it off, a structure or trees.

🚨Make sure you read your Omikuji for instructions on how to improve your fortune.

Traditional Japanese Cooking Lessons

Option 1: Authentic Homestyle Japanese Cooking Class in Tokyo

This is a class led by a local, where you will learn how to make 3-4 traditional Japanese dishes. Along the way you will also learn about Japanese culture and the traditions and customs of food and food culture in Japan.
