About Tokyo Toyosu Manyo Club Onsen’s facilities

Senkyaku Banrai Toyosu Manyo Club Onsen is a NEW hot spring facility in Toyosu, recently opening in February 2024. It is located in one of Tokyo’s hottest new tourist areas, where they have built an Edo Period Village.

This Tokyo Onsen is renowned for its high-quality baths and extensive facilities. The onsen ships mineral-rich water in daily from Hakone and Yugawara.

The main attraction here is the variety of baths, including large communal pools, private family baths, outdoor onsen with expansive views, and a rooftop foot bath that provides a stunning view of the city skyline.

What to expect about your Toyosu Onsen experience

Onsen Etiquette

  1. Remove Clothes: You must remove clothing and swimwear to enter the onsen. Upon arrival, they will assign you with a locker and key where you can put your belongings. You can also take a small towel with you for modesty.
  2. Phones or recording devices: To maintain the privacy of others, phones or recording devices are prohibited inside the onsen areas.
  3. Wash Before Entering: Use the provided stools, hand-held showers, and soap to wash and rinse your body completely before stepping into the communal bath.
  4. Keep Towels Out of the Water: Leave your small towel outside the bath area, do not take it into the water.
  5. Be Quiet: Avoid loud conversations or splashing, as the onsen is a place for relaxation.
  6. Tattoos: Small tattoos are allowed; however larger tattoos would need to be covered with a patch.
  7. Rinse Off Again After Soaking: When you finish your soak, rinse off again to wash away any minerals from the onsen water.
